News#1 LSU defeats #2 Alabama 9-6 in OT

Drew Alleman had the winning score on a 25 yard field goal in overtime as the Tigers won the “Game of the Century” Saturday night in Tuscaloosa in front of thousands of Tide fans screaming for the Tide to manhandle the 8-0 now 9-0 Tigers! Alabama missed 4 field goal attempts. Perhaps it was Eric Reid’s interception late in the 4th quarter on a pass by Marquis Maze who was in as the Wildcat QB that would have put Alabama on the doorstep for its first touchdown. Instead the game was settled in OT and the Tigers were winners of this epic battle by a final score of 9-6.
