NewsTiger Football Signs a Solid Class of 22 New Tigers!
The Tigers welcomed 24 new signees today. The unfortunate surprise of the day was that 4* linebacker Torshiro Davis a long time tiger commitment decided to sign with Texas. LSU did sign 4* lineback Kwon Alexander from the state of Alabama. Kwon was perhaps the nation’s best outside linebacker going into this year but was injured. A huge get for the tigers and a bright spot on signing day.
The linebacker position is definitely a position that looks to improve after signing 5 new tiger linebackers for the fall. The tigers got deeper and perhaps more skilled at many positions today. The class however lacks the big name recruit that fans are used to being excited about this time of year.
LSU football finished 7th, 12th, 14th, and 16th respectively in Scout, ESPN, 247 Sports, and Rivals recruiting rankings.
