The tigers were simply out played by a more fundamental Vanderbilt team.  LSU played Vanderbilt to a 27-27 tie at halftime.  However Vanderbilt was impressive at home and kept the tigers at bay in the second half.  The tigers did cut the commodore lead to only 4 points at 63-59 with about 4:30 to play but that was as close as it got down the stretch.

Vanderbilt was lead by senior center Festus Ezeli who scored 21 points and had 2 blocks.  The tigers were again led by Storm Warren with 13 points and 2 blocks.
