#4 LSU Travels to #3 South Carolina for the Final Weekend of SEC Play! Doubleheader Saturday
The tigers took a hit this past weekend in their quest for an all important top 8 national seed. A top 8 national seed makes it certain that if you win a regional and move on to the super regional round you will host. The percentage is highly against the road teams in the super regional round moving on to Omaha.
The tigers could put themselves back in the thick of things with a couple of wins this weekend but that will be very difficult since LSU will be the underdog on the road against one of the hottest college baseball teams in America.
Because of rain that forced officials to move to a doubleheader on Friday the series will begin at 1:30 and the two teams will play again at 6. Game 2 at 6 will be televised by Cox Sports. Saturday’s game 3 will be at 12 and will be televised by ESPNU.
