#3 LSU (27-7. 8-4 SEC) having won 5 of their last 6 SEC games over #3 Arkansas at home and #1 Florida in Gainesville will attempt to subdue the overmatched Alabama crimson tide (13-20, 4-8 SEC).  The first pitch Friday will be at 7 PM from Alex Box Stadium.   The Saturday game starts at 6:30 and then Sunday at 12:00. 

Saturday’s game will be televised by Cox Sports.  The Sunday game can be viewed on ESPN 3.

The tigers are in the hunt for another SEC championship!  Show your support!

The tigers for the second weekend in a row played some outstanding baseball!  This time they defeated #1 Florida in Gainesville.  LSU defeating Florida in a hostile environment is a telling sign that this team is “for real”!

LSU baseball (23-6, 6-3) hits the road to face Florida this weekend and it will be a daunting task  following their sweep over #3 Arkansas last weekend.  This time they are on the road to Gainesville.  The difference between this week and last is the tigers will not be in the friendly confines of Alex Box.  They will also not have the services of Aaron Nola and will be starting the weekend series Thursday night due to the teams being so highly ranked therefore the television coverage dictates an early weekend start.
