The Georgia Bulldogs are led by one of the SEC’s top Quarterbacks Aaron Murray who has 202 completions in 331 attemps with 2,698 yards and 32 Touchdowns.   Isaiah Crowell is the leading rusher for Georgia with 832 yards on 172 carries and 5 touchdowns.  Another big rusher for Georgia is running back Carlton Thomas who has 333 yards on 64 carries and 2 touchdowns.  Georgia will likely not be able to move the ball on LSU consistently.  The Georgia running game and Aaron Murray’s passing game will only have success in between the 20s.  The bulldogs have an impressive defense but their schedule is very weak compared to LSU’s.  Their 10 game winning streak is impressive still.  Look for time of possesion to be somewhat equal in the first half.  LSU will pound away on the Georgia defensive line and has much more weapons to work with.  I expect Jordan Jefferson to be a key factor with his feet and also forcing Georgia to respect the possibility of the play-action pass.  I love the tigers potential speed in the Georgia Dome.  Look for LSU  to seperate themselves in the 3rd quarter.  The partisan Georgia crowd will have the bulldogs pumped early but they can only do so much.

Prediction:

Tigers 36

Bulldogs 16
