LSU Baseball Scores 5 Runs & Nola shuts down Alabama 5-0; Saturday’s Game 2 at 7:00 on FSN
#2 Ranked LSU (36-3,14-2 SEC) defeated Alabama Friday night in Tuscaloosa as the tide fell to 23-17,8-8 SEC. Saturday’s first pitch will be at 7:00 and will be televised on the Fox Sports Network. LSU is still trailing Vanderbilt by a single game in the conference standings and because their friday game was postponed will play Georgia in a double-header tomorow.
Aaron Nola was again outstanding in his game one start. Junior right-hander Ryan Eades will get the start on Saturday while the Sunday starter is yet to be determined. Last week’s Sunday starter Cody Glenn made the trip with the team to Alabama but his status is uknown at this point.
