How does LSU react after the last minute loss to #1 Alabama a week ago.  How does Mississippi State react coming off a loss to Texas A&M.  Both teams are trying to avoid back to back losses although both teams were not favored a week ago.

The tigers at least have to be excited about last weeks offensive output where Zach Mettenberger had his biggest game of the season so far throwing for 298 yards in the loss.  Jarvis Landry had 76 yards receiving and Jeremy Hill had 107 yards rushing.

Mississippi State in my opinion has benefited because of a less than stellar schedule  including road games against only lower tier competition in Kentucky and Troy.  They did play Alabama on the road but were dominated 38-7.  I look for something similar in Baton Rouge but expect the game to be closer because the tigers could have a slight letdown because of the heartbreaking loss last week.
