Is this the day the tigers return to .500 in the SEC? The tigers come in after an exciting 18 point win at South Carolina Thursday night with much to prove. As it stands now LSU sits at 14-8, 5-6 SEC and have a chance to move to 6-6 if they can defeat a bulldog team that they beat in Starkesville on Feb. 2. The bulldogs come in at 7-16, 2-9 SEC.
The tigers fed off a career nigt from Johnny O’Bryant Thursday, in which he finished with 30 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Hickey comes into the game averaging 11.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. Shavon Coleman has averaged 11 points and 7 rebounds. Charles Carmouche has 8.8 points per game, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.8 assists.
Freshman guard Fred Thomas has 10.2 points per game and 3.5 rebounds for the bulldogs. Freshman guard Craig Sword averages 9.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and nearly 2 assists per game. Freshman forward Gavin Ware averages 8.9 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per game. Junior forward Colin Borchert brings in 7.7 points per game, 4.6 rebounds per game, and 1.4 assists. Sophomore guard Trivante Bloodman scores 6.2 points per game, 3.1 rebounds per game, and nearly 3 assists per game on average.
