LSU Tigers Finally Take Control Late over the Chattanooga Mocs 80-67
The tigers fought hard to put away the pesky Mocs who kept the game within reach. Andre Stringer stepped in as the primary replacement for the suspended sophomore guard Anthony Hickey. Stringer a junior guard did a fine job scoring 18 points, 4 assists,and 3 steals.
Sophomore Johnny O’Bryant III scored 18 points and had 10 rebounds, 1 steal, and 3 blocked shots. O’Bryant is becoming a serious threat to opposing offenses and defenses. Corban Collins scored a career best 11 points and 3 assists. Freshman guard Malik Morgan and freshman forward Shane Hamminck scored 4 points each.
Chattanooga was led by Z. Mason with 22 points. Ronrico White and Gee McGhee scored 17 and 10 points respectively for the Mocs.
The 6-0 tigers will travel to Boise, Idaho Friday night where they will play their first away game against Boise State in the Taco Bell Arena.
