Despite the lack of the big name recruits the tigers look to sign a solid class for 2012.  February 1 is signing day the first day 2012 football recruits  can officially become LSU student athletes.

With 3* duel threat quarterback Jeremy Liggins  commitment to LSU there are only 3 or 4 spots left.  4* linebacker Kwon Alexander is a player from the state of Alabama that the tiger coaches expect to sign on Wednesday.  LSU is still in the mix with highly touted 4*Juco wide reciever Corradelle Patterson who would surely add some much needed excitement to this year’s class.  Look for Texas 3* defensive back Corey Thompson and Alabama 3* defensive back Trae Elson to sign and add to the tigers depth at the position.  It should be an exciting finish!
