Home Court Proves to be an Advantage as the Tigers down the Razorbacks 71-65
(13-9, 3-5 SEC) (16-7, 4-4 SEC)
It seemed as if once the first 7 minutes were gone the tigers found an obvious confidence among them on their own home court. Numerous times down the court they made the extra pass, stepped in for the steal, pulled down the rebound, and took advantage of Arkansas miscues.
The razorbacks did do a very good job down the stretch to keep the game close. The tiger starters all needed to have strong games to complete the victory. Perhaps Eddie Ludwig’s play of the bench was most impressive. He finished with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and a steal. Johnny O’Bryant provided a key presence on both offense and defense as well. Justin Hamilton had a solid game and led the team with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Sophomore guard Mardracus Wade led Arkansas with 15 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 steals.
