LSU Baseball Clinches their First SEC Series over Mississippi State 4-3; Goes for the Sweep on Sunday at 1
Sophomore Ryan Eades allowed a single run through 7 innings as the #10 ranked tigers took the Saturday night game and the series from the #21 ranked bulldogs. LSU first baseman Mason Katz was key in the victory with a two-run homer. LSU turned four double plays as well.
LSU will go for the sweep on Sunday at 1 with freshman right hander Aaron Nola on the mound. With the series clinching victory the tigers improve to 16-3 and 2-0 in the SEC. Mississippi State falls to 14-7 and 0-2 SEC.
