With last years loss in mind (especially the odd nature in which LSU won,) look for the Tennessee team and its fans to be ready Saturday… but who are we kidding?!   This Volunteer squad is the same team that lost by 10 @ Florida and by 8 to a very average at best bulldog squad.  LSU has too much swagger to be affected by the crowd in Knoxville.   The Vols will not be able to move the ball on our defense consistently.  Our D-line will haunt Vol backup Matt Simms.  He may be able to hit some short passes but will not be able to do it consistently plus guys like Brockers, Montgomery, Allen, and Johnson will be in the backfield all day.  Add to it the fact that the Tiger defense forces turnovers like a  machine and they should provide some short fields.   Lee will start  Jefferson will provide backup and the Tigers will make the 18 point spread!
