NewsLSU to Open the 2012 Season Against a Focused North Texas Squad!
LSU faces North Texas in its first contest since it left the Superdome in less than thrilling fashion. LSU is ranked #1 in the USA Today Coaches Poll and the mean green know it. The game will serve as the first of many which LSU will have a huge target on their backs. No one will forget the fact that LSU was #1 for much of last season as well.
North Texas has had all offseason to prepare and the mean green are excited to get a chance against the tigers on September 1st. They fully believe they are prepared to take on #1 in death valley.
